Born and educated in Belfast, Northern Ireland, Bob entered the Insurance Industry in 1962 working for a small agency in Vancouver. The agency was eventually acquired in 1967 by Armstrong & Taylor Ltd. where Bob continued to work as a marketer until he left in 1972 to take a senior position in the Marketing Department of Dale & Company.

In 1976 Bob accepted a position as an Account Executive with Lukis Stewart Price Forbes Western Ltd., the predecessor firm of Sedgwick Ltd. During the next 24 years Bob was promoted to Assistant Vice President of the company and eventually to Vice President. He was involved in many areas of the Insurance Industry including; Mining, Municipal, Construction, Entertainment and Professional Liability for Architects & Engineers.

In January of 2007 Bob joined David Hamilton and helped establish Focus Entertainment Brokers Inc. eventually preceded on August 1, 2009 by the present firm of Front Row Insurance Brokers Inc.
